Responsibility Overview
The Head of Operations – Digital Assets role is part of a team that manages the day-to-day activity on 24 Exchange. This role will be responsible for a team delivering daily trading and settlement support for all Digital Assets. This role will actively manage institutional trading activity on an Electronic Communication Network (ECN), manage a team owning the Digital Asset trading process, and deliver results to ensure 24 Exchange’s Digital Asset business runs smoothly & effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the team that provides operational support for 24X Digital Asset trading business
- Strong emphasis on optimizing reconciliation and post-trade settlement process
- Maintain relationships with clients for funding requirements and settlements
- Monitor & ensure all settlements are facilitated
Communicate and liaise with clients and exchanges as needed
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, technology upgrades and automation; implement solutions as needed
- Respond to new, incoming counterparty inquiries
- Liaise with global operations team
Required Skills & Experience:
Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of the digital asset marketplace
- Experience with moving funds to wallets, settlements, money transfers/wires and best practices
- Previous experience working in fast-paced, high pressure environment
- High sense of urgency and dedication to efficiency
- Proficiency in MS Excel; previous experience working with VBA or other tools for automation and process improvement (preferred)
- A demonstrated ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks/projects autonomously
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree
